Tom Pappa at the Birchmere
World famous Birchmere is known more for its musical acts than comedy, but saw Tom Pappa there on Friday night. Pappa is a really good comic. His act is "clean." (There were kids in the audience.) His act focused on every day shlubbs, like all of us, who don't exercise and live to get back home and take off their pants. I have seen a lot of live stand-up, in a wide variety of venues. The Pappa show at the Birchmere was definitely above average. BTW - the food at Birchmere is surprisingly good. I had ribs, wife had salmon. Would recommend both.
